Peacefulness

How important is colour?
Do the daffodils look any less beautiful without their vibrant yellow?
Pondering this I was reminded of a poem by Sylvia Plath and especially the opening lines -

Tulips

The tulips are too excitable, it is winter here.
Look how white everything is, how quiet, how snowed-in
I am learning peacefulness, lying by myself quietly
As the light lies on these white walls, this bed, these hands.
I am nobody; I have nothing to do with explosions...

Admittedly, my pic is of daffodils and not tulips but the sentiment is the same...
Although, at the end of the day, I think I prefer my daffodils yellow!
